North Range Village Metropolitan District

General Information: Created in November 1999, the North Range Village Metropolitan District (i.e. NRVMD) was created to fund the construction of the North Range Village and Foxton Village neighborhood infrastructure consisting primarily of the streets, sidewalks, storm drainage system, playground and open space landscaping.  In 2000, RDMD1 issued bonds to fund the construction of this infrastructure.  These bonds were refunded in 2007 through the issuance of new bonds totaling approximately $7.5 million with semi-annual principal and interest payments due each year through the year 2036.
District Oversight: The NRVMD five-member board reviews and approves the operations and finances of NRVMD.  Board members serve 4-year terms and are elected in even-numbered years
Property Tax Usage: Property taxes are used to fund (1) NRVMD's semi-annual debt payments and (2) the general and administrative costs of NRVMD.
