Committee Member Qualifications

To serve on the Foxton Village Committee, an individual must be either (1) an owner of a lot within the Foxton Village neighborhood or (2) a legal representative/agent of an owner of such lot. No more than one owner per lot can serve on the Committee at any time. Committee members are appointed by the District board and the Committee reports to and advises the District board regarding the operations, maintenance and enforcement matters pertaining to the Foxton Village subdivision. Please review the Committee's bylaws for complete information regarding the restrictions and requirements for serving on the Committee.

Generally, the minimum time commitment for serving on the Committee is not significant. (There is no maximum time commitment associated with serving on the Committee, and the more time Committee members spend serving on the Committee, the better off our neighborhood is from their service!) Committee members are expected to attend the regular and (if called) special committee meetings and each meeting generally lasts about two hours. In addition, Committee members are expected to respond timely to emails (primarily from the District Manager) to ensure the day-to-day operations of the neighborhood continue without interruption.
